Felix Ventures Foundation

My name is Elias and I am the Co-President for Felix Ventures. I am a Senior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for the past 4 years. Felix Ventures is a fantastic program that has taught me values and skils I wouldn't get anywhere else. It gives students grand opportunities with responsibilities, devloping skills, and much more. These are one of the few reasosn to why I joined. With that being said, one of the programs greatest features are the trips students attend. A trip I treasure is the Sierra Nevada Northlake Loop, as it shared the beauty of nature and a new perspective.

My name is Linda and I am the Co-President for Felix Ventures. I am a Senior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for the past 4 years. I live in a pretty tight nit family. We would spend loads of time together but sometimes it gets to that point where you want to escape them. I initially joined Felix Ventures because I wanted to escape my family. But eventually my reason for staying changed. I wanted to experience more of what the outdoors have to offer. I get to do things I never would have had the chance previously to do like rock climbing and backpacking. My favorite trip has been Winter Weekend my Sophomore year. I made the best and strongest bonds with people that trip since we got snowed in for an extra day. That trip taught me that unexpected things happen all the time.

My name is Anh-Tai and I am the Executive Vice President for Felix Ventures. I am a Junior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for the past 3 years. I decided to join Felix Venture because I thought it was a very cool and unique club. I first came for the food but I stayed for the people!

My name is Delaila and I am the Administrative Vice President for Felix Ventures. I am a Junior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for the past 3 years. My favorite trip was winter Mountaineering on Mt. Pinos because we got to use snow boots to get through the snow and I got to sleep in an igloo for the first time. Sleeping in an igloo was surprisingly comfortable and I’d actually want to do it again. It was cold but not overwhelmingly cold and I’m glad I’ve been able to learn about layering because I was pretty warm for most of the trip. I can’t wait for the next Winter Mountaineering!

My name is Elizabeth and I am the Accounting Manager for Felix Ventures. I am a Sophomore and have been a member of Felix Ventures for over a year. I joined Felix Ventures because it was another way of me being able to go out and see my friends besides just going to school. I wanted to learn new things outside of school as well as experience new things. The one trip that really intrigued me to join was Hearst Castle, especially when I found out that it was one of the trips I could go on again when I’m a Senior. I’m really glad I can still go on Felix Ventures trips even with all the events that are going on right now. Especially because I can actually be outside and be with people I care about.

My name is Matthew and I am the High Adventure V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Junior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 3 years. The reason I joined Felix Ventures was because of all the different activities I could experience. I thought I shouldn’t miss the opportunities given. For instance the scholarships given, and awards like the 100/100 club and Platinum Backpacking and Car Camping. One of my favorite trips would have to be Cooper Canyon. The hike was moderate and there wasn’t a moment where I was bored. The waterfall was great and the view was also mesmerizing.

My name is Jessica and I am the Car Camping V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Junior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 3 years. I decided to join Felix Ventures because I saw it as a way to get out of my comfort zone and make new friends. It also provides a lot of opportunities.

​My name is Nayeli and I am the College and Career V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Junior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 3 years. I joined Felix Ventures because before I was in a bad place due to joining another group. I did not do the best and was always stressed, I knew more people in Felix Ventures than the other group so I went to one trip and absolutely felt more accepted in Felix Ventures. Felix Ventures is my family and my happy place, The Death Valley Campout will forever have a special place in my heart.

My name is Angelica and I am the Cultural and Fine Arts V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Sophomore and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 2 years. I decided to join because I knew that there was more to the world than just a screen. I wanted to see the world, not through Google or Pinterest, but in real life. I want to smell, hear, touch, see, experience things. I’ve always wanted adventure, and Felix Ventures has given me that adventure of a lifetime with every single trip I go on.

My name is Joshua and I am the Training V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Senior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 4 years. I decided to join Felix Ventures because I really had nothing exciting happening in my life at that time so I wanted to join but also to experience new things with others I did not know. At the end I don't regret joining because of all the people I became friends with.

My name is Jayro and I am the Training V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Sophomore and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 2 years. My favorite trip was the 55 Mile Bike Hike. It was my favorite trip due to the way it was full of mental and physical challenges that you have to overcome leading me to always want to push myself whether it’s biking or working out.

My name is Gerardo and I am the Quartermaster for Felix Ventures. I am a Senior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 3 years. I decided to join Felix ventures because it's fun and I spend time making friends and with friends.

​My name is Lindsey and I am the Quartermaster for Felix Ventures. I am a Senior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 4 years. I joined Felix Ventures to learn survival skills and meet new people. Felix ventures has given me many fun experiences that I will keep with me forever.

​My name is Savannary and I am the Marketing & Social Media V.P. for Felix Ventures. I am a Senior and have been a member of Felix Ventures for 3 years. I joined Felix Ventures to try something new and to escape from the real world. One of the trips I have been on had left a fond memory that I love very much. That trip was called Winder Mountaineering. Although the trip did not go as planned, I still had fun. There was a lot of funny small chaos that occurred at the same time, but in the end we all laughed together. Which it had made that moment even better.
